EUROPHRAS 2021 - online
The big EUROPHRAS conference (originally planned for 2020) will be held in 2021 online, under the aegis of Jean-Pierre Colson. Here Jean-Pierre’s announcement:
“Given the tragic situation of the covid-19 pandemic, and the many uncertainties surrounding face-to-face meetings in the coming months, the EUROPHRAS 2021 conference, organised by the European Association for Phraseology and the University of Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve) will be held online from 6 to 9 September 2021, on the theme
“Phraseology, constructions and translation: corpus-based, computational and cultural aspects”
In spite of the shortcomings of virtual meetings, we will make the best of the available technology for sharing inspiring talks and discussions with researchers from the various fields dealing with phraseology. We also hope to attract many participants, as registration will be compulsory but free of charge. We hope all will be well for you and your dear ones, and invite you to take up this new EUROPHRAS challenge with us.”
The Call for Papers is available on the conference homepage.
