The Institute of Languages, with the Department of Modern Languages and Translation and the Post-Graduate Program in Applied Linguistics at the University of Brasilia, Brazil, is organizing the II International Conference on Phraseology and Paremiology and the I Brazilian Conference of Phraseology on the central topic of “Trends in Descriptive and Applied Phraseological and Paremiological Research”.

Abstracts: They will be presented with the application form, in the space provided at the end of the box. The minimum length is 300 words and the maximum is 500. The selected abstracts will be published on a list in the website of the conference. Title, author's full name and institution should be placed at the top. The deadline for abstract submission is the 30st of june 2011. The selected papers list will be published on August 1st, 2011
